We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to our commitment to manufacturing innovation.
## Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Production Engineer at PT Daisho Precision, you will serve as a vital link between mechanical efficiency and strategic planning. Your primary objective is to optimize our manufacturing processes while ensuring that quality standards are consistently met.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Production Scheduling & Maintenance: Developing detailed production timelines and establishing comprehensive machine maintenance schedules.
* Operational Oversight: Monitoring and evaluating daily production activities to ensure all targets are met with precision.
* Performance Optimization: Conducting in-depth analyses of productivity and efficiency, while spearheading programs designed to enhance performance.
* Documentation & Standards: Creating, reviewing, and updating Work Instructions (WI) and defining critical process parameters.
* Problem Solving: Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address manufacturing bottlenecks and implementing effective corrective actions.
* Reporting: Preparing detailed performance reports accompanied by strategic recommendations for process improvements.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with relevant departments to ensure seamless production workflows and proactive maintenance support.
* Compliance: Ensuring all manufacturing operations strictly adhere to company SOPs and established quality management standards.
## Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise and analytical prowess. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A minimum of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a production engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
* System Knowledge: A solid understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality Management Systems.
* Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated experience in applying methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or other similar efficiency frameworks.
* Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, production machinery, and the fundamentals of mechanical maintenance.
* Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of using data to drive process improvements.
* Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
