## Open Position: Furniture Drafter
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Drafter to assist our Research and Development (RnD) department. This is a vital role for individuals looking to sharpen their technical design skills while contributing to high-level interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical translation of design concepts into actionable production documents. Your core duties will include:
* Technical Drafting: Creating precise working drawings and visual presentations for clients and buyers based on directives from the RnD department or project coordinators.
* Material Optimization: Developing accurate cutting patterns to facilitate the ordering of essential materials such as textiles, high-pressure laminates (HPL), compact boards, marble, and edging.
* Data Management: Maintaining an organized database of all drawing files and inputting technical data into product knowledge documentation.
* Visual Support: Executing image editing and graphic design tasks as requested by project leadership to support internal presentations.
Candidate Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you must possess a blend of technical software proficiency and a meticulous approach to project execution. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A degree or vocational certification (STM) in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or Furniture Design.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience within the architecture, interior design, or furniture manufacturing sectors.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced skill level in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop.
* Essential Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* High attention to detail, especially when managing complex technical specifications.
* Ability to perform under pressure and meet project deadlines.
* Language Skills: Ability to understand English (passive).
