Job Description
As a Junior WTP/WWTP Operator, your primary responsibility is to manage and oversee specialized facilities to ensure optimal performance. Key duties include:
* Operating equipment and infrastructure within the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Makeup Water Plant, Electro Chlorination Plant, and Sea Water Intake Area.
* Monitoring operational parameters and closely coordinating daily activities with the WTP/WWTP Control Room.
* Ensuring all systems function efficiently, securely, and in strict compliance with safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
To thrive in this technical role, applicants must meet the following professional criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Diploma 3 (D3) degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Conversion Engineering.
* Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on working experience within a power plant environment—specifically in operations. Fresh graduates possessing strong academic foundations are also encouraged to apply.
* Technical Knowledge:
* General understanding of industrial water treatment systems and chemistry.
