## The Role of a Plant Operator
As a Plant Operator, you will be the backbone of our operational excellence. You will ensure our facilities perform at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Production Oversight: Managing LPG refinery processes safely and in strict alignment with established procedures to meet ambitious production targets.
* Operational Lifecycle Management: Executing refinery start-up and shutdown sequences, including both planned maintenance and emergency response scenarios, in full compliance with SOPs.
* Field Monitoring: Conducting rigorous inspections of operating conditions and mechanical equipment, documenting data in log sheets, and proactively identifying maintenance needs.
* Hazard Mitigation: Strictly adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment (K3L) policies while proactively reporting any potential workplace hazards.
* Supervisory Collaboration: Executing directives from management to ensure seamless integration with broader refinery operations.
## Candidate Qualifications
To excel in this high-performance environment, candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency and a commitment to professional growth. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A minimum of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Industry Experience: At least one year of relevant experience, ideally in a role similar to a DCS Control Room Operator within the Oil and Gas sector.
* Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a strong command of the English language.
* Professional Competencies: A target-oriented mindset, the ability to operate independently, and a high degree of initiative.
