This specialized training program provides comprehensive, end-to-end exposure to the complexities of coffee manufacturing. Successful candidates will gain a robust foundation in safety protocols, quality assurance, continuous improvement methodologies, and regulatory compliance, ensuring they are fully equipped for high-impact industrial or agro-processing roles.
Core Training Pillars
Our trainees rotate through critical operational areas to develop a well-rounded skill set:
* Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE): Master the application of PPE, Life Saving Rules, and LOTO systems. You will play an active role in HIRA studies, risk assessments, and the ongoing execution of SHE SOPs and safety audits.
* Mill Operations: Gain hands-on experience with milling machine operations, including startup and shutdown procedures. You will also develop expertise in HACCP, OPRP, and EUDR compliance requirements.
* Warehouse Operations: Oversee logistics, including loading and dispatch planning, FIFO implementation, and warehouse safety. Trainees will manage daily MIS reports and perform essential weighbridge calibration checks.
* Quality Assurance: Dive deep into coffee specifications, sensory evaluation, and cupping. You will assist in blending optimization, cost-saving initiatives, and FSSC 22000 audit documentation.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute to 5S, TPM, and Six Sigma initiatives. You will utilize data visualization tools like Power BI to solve operational challenges and reduce waste.
* Engineering Projects: Assist in project lifecycle management, from scoping and Gantt chart tracking to vendor coordination and technical documentation.
## Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this rigorous training program, candidates must demonstrate both technical proficiency and a collaborative mindset:
1. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of manufacturing processes and food safety principles (PRP, OPRP, CCP, and HACCP).
3. Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of mass balance principles in production environments.
